La Slina Dolcetto di Ovada Rocco Rosso

A very nice little Dolcetto. Friendly and light-bodied with cherry, berry and low tannins. A simple wine in the best sense of the word. Very food friendly at a good price. 12.5% alc. (D 5.5, F 6.5; DaV)

Clear, medium-dark garnet color. Clean nose of red berries. Delicious, light-bodied Dolcetto that's neither sweet or dry. Fresh and nicely balanced with a touch of acidity on the finish. Versitile and appropriate for fish, chicken, vegetarian, apps, and some pizza, light pasta. This is a red that many white lovers could enjoy. A slight chilling would be pleasant in the summer. 12.5% alco. (D 5, F 6; DaV)
