Very dry and tart with lime-y citrus and wonderful energy. Refreshing with a lingering finish. I love this stuff for the fabulous acidity, but it is not for everyone.

Popped and poured Good balance of fruit and crisp. White peach. Tiny hint of petrol. Salty. Has a subtle and unique pumpkin spice quality. Long finish. Well made and just barely worth the slightly high price of $19USD. Recommended.

A nose full of apple and lime, which follows on the palate. Pretty direct and uncomplicated, with a crisp acidity and nice cut. Not a wine to sit and ponder or unravel, but a lovely, simple, palate-scraping-ly dry Riesling. Excited to see what these guys do in the coming years.

Hickory Creek Winery Visit (Baroda, Michigan) : Very young and linear. You get a facefull of tart fruit here. 2006 was not as good a vintage as 2005 or 2007. Again very dry with wet stone and apple notes. 85-86 points.
