Aromas of creamy lemon curd and fresh lemon bar cookies - maybe a hint of tininess . Flavors are light spice from the barrel with a nice acidity cutting through. Twelve months on the lees gives this wine a luxurious mouthfeel, without the pronounced buttery-ness that comes with many California Chardonnays. I opened this last night and it was not matching mood or food. Stayed in fridge all night - without a stopper! Really enjoying it tonight.
