Very warm night and with a disappointing earlier wine, we cracked this while Traci cooked. Initially some notes of fried bacon that subsided to show a wonderful combination of strawberry and mountain cherries with just a little hint of creaminess. All in all though enough acidity to keep it lively and fun. In a good way, to me, it was almost a combination of a cold strawberry/cherry jolly rancher with a hint of pepper.
