Borjón Winery Iscander & Borjón Diferente

50-50 blend of Malbec and Primitivo estate grown in Plymouth, Ca. Pnp, no decant. Fruit forward blend, blackberry and some vanilla notes on the nose. Nice round mouthfeel, more blackberry and maybe some strawberry and a bit of leather/tobacco. This is bigger than I expected, but no hot hits of alcohol. Very smooth fruit forward finish but not a total fruit bomb. Nice balance, great sipping wine.
