Nose of fungus, anise and dried blueberries. Flavour is smooth with dry, blue fruit and anise. Still quaffable with some tannins. It might be starting to fade a bit.

A blend of 70% Garnacha, 20% Syrah and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. A deep garnet hue that opens with subtle notes of juniper, black tea and ripe fruit. Roasted plum and raspberry sauce lead to a medium-length finish of clay pot and pie crust. Very good balance of acidity to fruit with ABV of 14.5%. Paired nice with a Portuguese vegetable soup. Excellent QPR.

Pretty big even after several hours of decanting. Tasty, oaky, a bit hot not overwhelming. Definite food wine, would be great w grilled red meats or other bold hearty food.
