Friskt vin med markerad syra. Fattoner väl integrerade med citrus och lite vit frukt. Ganska neutralt.

Nose nose opens with lively and energetic aromas of jasmine, citrus rind, orchard blossoms and flint. On the palate, green apple and zesty, with just a hint of white pepper. In perfect balance between its dry extract, acidity, fruit and minerality. Superior and superior in value if at $30.

12.5% ABV, grapes from Bien Nacido, Dierberg, La Rinconada, and Sanford & Benedict, undergoes malo and 15% new oak. The wine is balanced and restrained, if not slightly simple. But there's not much you can critique at this price. I would just say that the Mae Estate Chardonnay bottling is a much better barometer of what Tyler is capable of, where this is truly a table wine (albeit a decent one at that).

I concur with much of what has been written about this wine. The cool climate provides bright acidity & I appreciate the modest ABV @ 12.5%. While it might seem counterintuitive, I believe we’re all drinking this prior to its ideal window. At ~$30.00 it’s hard to leave it alone. Very pleasurable with or without food.

Moving from Macon to here makes this smell like allot of oak. And boy do i sure like it. And then crispy freshness on the palate. Outstanding in quality and in value at $28 or so.

Appearance: Medium lemon. Nose: Clean, medium intensity with developing aromas of green apple, pear, bread crust, and saline with subtle licorice notes. Palate: Dry, medium+ acid, medium body with slightly creamy mouth-feel, medium intensity, 13.0% abv with flavors of pear, apple, and chamomile with a medium+ finish. A wonderful entry level Santa Barbara County chardonnay - wonderful blend from La Rinconada, Sandford & Benedict, Dierberg, and Bien Nacido vineyards in Santa Barbara County.

Really fruit forward. Tropical fruit. Missing some of the savory, mineral and salty characteristics that I enjoy in Chardonnay. Body is lean with decent acid, although it has a fairly round finish. Not really my thing.

@ Boulevard, SF. A lot fresher tasting than the Patz & Hall. I imagine this saw very little oak. However fully enjoyed the fresh notes. A little too expensive for what came out of the wine though. More Burgundy than Californian style of chardonnay.

Lompoc Wine Ghetto Tastings : Aromas of honeycomb, citrus zest and spices. Rich and zesty on the palate. Bright primary fruit, with subtle secondary depth. Round texture, full fruit on the finish.
