Few wines at Tequila Revolucion (Tequila Revolucion) : Nose of apple, salt and slate. Flavors of grapefruit, star fruit and sour Beer almost. Ends with a 15+ second finish. This is very sour. It’s not bad. Just sour. I ended up dumping this wine because I just could not finish it. The Scholium Project wines I have had are very hit or miss. The one thing I will say though is that the guy likes to push the envelop and …

Abe recommended drinking this the year it came out. I enjoyed several bottles then but neglected to write a note. Currently lots of grapefruit, a bit of melon and pepper. Medium acidity/light minerals. Tasty but the various flavors don't mesh. I'd give it an 84 now but things were fresher/more coherent a year ago, likely 87+ then. Drink now.

Nice flavor profile, juicy. Richer fruit profile than most sparklers, this really had that in spades. Fun to drink on its own as a starter. Under screw cap. Since the fruit is the hero, think these better enjoyed young.

Per Jake, this is a blend of Verdelho, Gruner Veltliner and Grolleau (?). It reminds me of Vino Verde, as it is frizzante, with lots of grapefruit notes and a huge blast of pepper. Superbowl, my place.

There are things to like here. No off flavors, the wine is clean & fresh and is certainly not meant to be a blockbuster. The problem I have is that is tastes like grapefruit soda when poured and the bubbles start fading almost immediately. I like Scholium project wines & was interested in a fun sparkler from them. This one was a disappointment.

Nice! Fun. One strong note of muscat/grapes/flowers/honeysuckle on both the nose and the palate. One-dimensional, but an appealing dimension. If you know the story of the wine, the bubbles might seem a bit un-integrated, but honestly if I didn't know I can't say I would have been able to identify anything unusual about the "methode." A tiny bit cloying after a couple of glasses, but hey. Glad to have tried it, and glad to have a few more bottles. Perfect …
