Pleasantly fruity, low acidity, but easy drinking. Perhaps drink this one cold to try to freshen it given the lack of acidity.

At 21 Newcastle: clean pure viognier character, but too dilute, and not very expressive

Another impressive gem from the Collines Rhodaniennes IGP. Plenty of the fresh flowers, ripe peach, dried apricot and salty grapefruit notes you expect of Viognier. The palate is on the crisper, fresher end of the spectrum beautifully balancing medium-bodied richness with acidity and a minerally finish. Great value as usual from the Chapoutier stable.
