Not the best vintage of this wine, but it was good none the less. Needed a lot of time to open up. Once it did it was a smooth medium bodied wine.

Enjoyed it recently solo. Should have opened it a few years ago, would have been a solid 4 stars. Slightly past its prime. Still a good reminder of why I have always loved this winery. Its wines and location. Really like this part of Sonoma.

Peppery plum nose, blackberry and pepper and moderate tannins. Not overly complex but was good with the Home Chef Harvest Stuffed Pork Tenderloin. I like everything Kenwood produces

Good not great Some blackberry cedar and tobacco on the nose. Soft legs and really coming apart at the edges. On the palate that thin adage is the story has all the cab components they just don't come together to build anything interesting.

Different wine than I remember. Expected full-on fruit. Instead this was more restrained and a bit thin. Plum and blackberry along with a menthol/herbal edge. Balance a bit off. Not bad but not as good as expected.

Very dark. Fruity nose with a bit of spice and alcohol straight out of the bottle. Lot's of dark red fruit up front on the palate with some pepper notes. Well structured tannins lead to a long finish.

Aerate to decanter, serve. Color dark red, clear, medium-full body. Bouquet of cinnamon, toasted oak, cassis, and plum. Flavors of cinnamon, earthy plum watery blackberries, toasted oak, and green herbs. Fairly low acid, medium tannins, short finish of plum, bell pepper, and oak stretching into an extended aftertaste of wood. I haven't had a cab this oaky in quite some time. Pass.

Chose against my better judgment, but was obligated by circumstances beyond my control. Ripe fruit and vanilla oakiness predominate. May improve with time, but I don't see it as having sufficient structure to age for more than a couple of years.

Pnp. VERY heavy floral on the nose. Medium finish, good QPR. Didn't knock my socks off, but enjoyed. And wolf label was a nice fit for All Hallows' Eve...Eve.

Medium body with a red cherry, toasted cedar flavor profile. Reminds me of a $14-$20 Bordeaux, made in the old world style. Easy to drink and food friendly.
