J.A. Ferret Pouilly-Fuissé Tête de Cru

Probably over-aged, but still very enjoyable. found it in the back of my cellar and gave it a shot. Color was an amazing golden chestnut. more brown than yellow. Could barely tell it was a chardonnay...had such a complex nutty and smoky flavor. enjoyable, but totally different than expected. clearly well past advisable drink-by date, but still tasty.
