(16,5/20) Vivino says Cabernet Sauvignon, but this is a field blend of CS and Cabernet Franc, aged in a mix of oak barrels, concrete vats and steel tanks. Fresh and rich wine, quite elegant, not too polished. Love this style! Medium intense aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant, red paprika, green bell pepper, violet, toast, milk chocolate, smoke, black pepper, liquorice wood. A very very light cab if you are familiar with Napa or Bordeaux this is something entirely else. Dancing paprika earth notes reminiscent of sangiovese almost.

Lageder sait encore, à prix d'ami, servir à ses fans (dont je suis) l'esprit d'un cépage, d'un terroir, d'une sensibilité dont la justesse crée immédiatement une harmonie d'ensemble cohérente. Étoffe fine, fraîche, aérienne, précise, réaliste, digeste. Un bijou!

Nez légèrement végétal. Belle fraîcheur.

An old-world style Cab from Italy that developed nicely over the evening. Intense cassis and dark fruit on the nose, nice smooth finish. Held up the next day as well when we finished the bottle.
