The nose was deep and intense with crushed black cherry, sweet holiday spices, and a hint of vanilla, and, with time, floral undergrowth. It was silky on the palate, with saturating dark red berry, and balsamic spices. The finish was long with raspberry and hints of herbal-tinged olive.
