Robert Sinskey Vineyards Pinot Blanc Los Carnernos

Aging very nicely, even in the 375ml size. Has acquired a nice deeper color, and tasting a with a toasted echo above the fruit at this time. Very capable library wine now, and we have one more bottle left from an original 6-bottle case. Going to suggest 2027 end-date.

This 375ml size bottle now seems to be getting a bit past its prime, but still very drinkable. This has always been a very dry white to me. We have a few of these bottles left, should drink up fairly soon.

Finally opening the first of 6 half-bottles of this Pinot Blanc. One of the things that strikes me most about this bottle is that it would make a great vintage sparkling. Dry, slightly nutty, reminds me of a very nice Billecart Brut Champagne from many years ago. So am guessing that this vintage will hold up for a number of years ahead as a still, suggesting 2028. Really looking forward to the other five bottles in the next several years.

Very crisp with notes of melon, green apple, and some lime zest. Light mouthfeel but I paired this up with shrimp in a sweet chili sauce and it held up its end so it has a little backbone.
