Great value wine

2021 vintage

Lots of sediment. I recommend standing it up for a few days. Decanted for a half hour and cooled it touch below cellar temp. Had with baked spaghetti (And after). Nose had lots of black cherry, some oak. Medium high acid medium body. After dinner a blackcurrant note had developed. Some tannins had emerged on the finish as well. This still has shelf life left.

Drank from Bin North 14. Shared with Aline and Mike. Hint of oak and vanilla. Deep dark purple. Vanilla presentation dry oak touch of blackberry. Less body but lovely 13 year old wine. 7/10.

Really solid, great Zin-lover's Zin, still drinking wonderfully. Wish I had more. Perfect pair to a wild boar dinner.

Pleasantly surprised on this wines staying power. When first opened the fruit seemed to be past its prime, but after 15 mins it opened up and was very enjoyable to drink.

Candied cherry here, a nice full-bodied wine, dried herbs. Fruit forward and juicy, then significant drying with the dried herbs mid-palate. Both together on the lengthy and drier finish. Again, a great bottle of wine. 90-91 pts.

Bottle age did this Paso Zin some good! Lots of berry and rhubarb, with some nice pepper action. Went great with BBQ Ribs!

Nose: Fresh sweet cherry, a little strawberry, red string licorice, a little toast. Palate: cherry, a little strawberry, great mouthfeel, with the wine sticking on the sides of the mouth to provide a long, lingering finish with cherry and a touch of dried herbs / tobacco leaf. Decent acidity provides excellent balance. Good complexity. 90-91.

Nose: very nice. Dusty ripe cherry, some toast/roasted almond, just a hint of spice late. Smells like its going to be smooth and delicious. Palate: ripe cherry, a touch of backend spice, soft, supple, smooth, and just excellent overall. I'd say it must be in its prime, but you should certainly have another few years no problem. Raspberry, blackberry and hints of smoke on the nose. Rich, dark bramble fruit on the palate with berry, spice and cedar with black pepper in small amounts. Nicely balanced.

Nice example of a Paso Robles Zin with it's deep color and full body. Dark fruits dominate with spices and a touch of earth. It's drinking well now but has aging potential. Great value too.

Dark fruit, blackberries, light cedar and se spice on the nose - deep garnet color- slightly tart on the balance, with 15.9 alcohol, means fairly high acid. Great tannins, will give this wine a couple of years of aging. Nice wine just drink in next few years.

The perfect Zin to pair with Mexican food. Full of ripe fruit, but not overly jammy, spice, and minerality. Well balanced. The 15.9% alcohol isn't noticeable.

A fine Zinfandel. Nice fruity nose of plum and spice. Medium bodied and food friendly. Palate that is modestly dry with plum, berry and light spice. Moderate finish length. Good with pork. Doesn't taste like its 16.2% alco. (D 6, F 6; Cent)

Enticing aroma and good full-bodied zin flavor. Great wine for the price and Eberle says it will get better with time.

Some tart cherry fruit, but not over-the-top. Pleasant mouth feel. Mostly pleasant finish, although a bit vegetal when first opened (which went away after an hour of being open). Very definitely above average, so a good deal for the price.

I really like this wine. Very powerful flavors and aromas. It brings the noise alcohol wise (16+%) but it's not overly hot or off-putting. Tremendous fruit and it's not dried or pruney like too many over the top zins. Really well put together wine and nice price point too. Another great Eberle buy.

not as hot as I expected after I saw the 16+% alcohol. On the sweeter side, oak mixes well with fruit. Good bottle.

The fruit is there, but not as bold as some other Zins from the area. Cherry, blackberry are prominent. Could use a little more backbone. Has a bit of spiciness in the finish.
