There is wonderful balance in this wine. Fruit is nicely offset by well integrated oak and acids. The palate is fresh and carried nicely by chalky and mineral tones towards a long, clean finish. It's moreish.

Eurocentric Trade Tasting; 8/17/2012-8/18/2012 : Minerality and citrus on the nose. Lovely mouthfeel, composed and long. One of my most preferred Chardonnay based wines that I tried at this tasting.

Domaine bottled, 2599 bottles produced, an admirable 12.7% alcohol. Wax capsule, top-notch cork personally selected in Portugal by Benoit Ente. Very clean and pure, excellent Chassagne typicity, energetic and minerally for this warm vintage, lovely balance, fresh, lemony fruit, good length. A superior Villages.
