Domaine Boissonnet St. Joseph Emisphère

Not going to tank it with a low score as this was past its window, at least by my palate - and this vintage is incorrect, mine was a 2015 but I’m too lazy to change it. My take: If you must drink Marsanne, drink it young.

Quite ripe and modern for St. Joseph, chocolaty oak, sweet plum and black cherry fruit. Could use another 1-2 years for the oak to integrate.

Jasmine, pear, almond. Nice flavour but it's light and a bit bitter

Floral aromas, elegant (soil is decomposed granite). Serve with roast chicken or salmon. La cuvée « Emisphère » blanc de Boissonnet est composée à 80% de Marsanne et à 20% de Roussanne.
