Surprisingly amazing. Fruity and refreshing, and super smooth. I will order more of this wine.

Beautiful wine, absolutely smoothed to perfection with piles of blueberries and sorbet. So velvety almost delicate, time to drink now

same profile as first bottle. Double decanted 2 hours before drinking. Bordeaux-like in mouthfeel and taste

Drank on the first debate night to try and drown out the crosstalk. Also in solidarity with Napa wineries that were facing devastation in the fires. Either way, it was a transcendent celebration of all the best Napa flavors -- dark fruit, tobacco, cedar and plenty of acid, even for a 2003.

very good. Rich and tasty. Slightly muted taste. Maybe decant next time?

Aged just a little too long. Very nice after being decanted for about an hour. Did not hold up as well as I thought it should have for the price

We have had over a case and a half of the 2009 Bremer Claret, and this is our first foray into the 2012. Found this much more tightly wound than the 2009 upon opening. The 09 comes out of the bottle totally ready to go with deep round richness, firing on all cylinders. This 2012 is more tannic, bigger, edgier, and less round. We drank it over two days, and it settled down considerably on day two but NOT all …

Not quite ready. Needed to use the Venturi to get it to open up some. Nice fruit then.

Nose is ok, plum, black cherry, hints of tobacco and red fruits. On the palate plum, cherry, currants. Really soft and short on the finish. Seems like the best days are behind this one. Drink.

Right now this wine is amazing. Incredible. At first open there is a perfect blend of savory complexity merged with fruit flavors. Upon decanting the fruit disappeared and was replaced with a smoothness tasting like over ripened strawberries. Drink now as this wine is at the end of its life.

Decanted for about 1 hr, served with grilled lamb, potatoes, and grilled veggies. Garnet color, lighter around the rim. Nose: blackberry, a little black licorice and some fig, maybe a little leather; taste: consistent with nose- dark fruit, blackberry, maybe a little black cherry, fig, a little pepper, nice integrated tannins, medium-long finish. Might need to open a little more, but pretty nice, drinking well now, glad we laid this down for a while.

PNP. Pleasant nose of dark fruit. Medium plus viscosity. A little tight at first, but after about 30 minutes really began to open up with dark cherry and raspberry notes and some nice leather / cigar on the finish. Mellow tannins, good acidity, strong balance and still has some complexity. This wine is in a very good place right now.

A pleasant Californian Claret. Deeply red color. Strong fruit/raspberry nose and taste. Nicely (almost perfectly) oaked. Some tar/tobacco on the back taste. A very pleasant wine, ready to drink now with decanting or slight aeration.

nose of black cherry and rhubarb, a hint of eucalyptus or mint and some light cedar. Also a touch of heat. I'm getting a hint of something musty as well, but I can't place it. It's more pronounced as it opens... maybe a hint of brett? I'm not sure... Nice fruit on the palate, well balanced, good acidity. Definitely a delicious wine. recommended.

Very similar with my previous notes. Full body red. Nose of licorice, dark fruit, with a hint of spices. Big, bold and velvety mouth-feel. Excellent accompaniment to grilled meats.

No formal notes. This bottle didn't show as well as my last one, but still a solid, enjoyable Bdx blend.

Nose - coffee, blueberry Mouth - coffee infused toasted oakyness outweighs the fruit by a mile. Maybe with time this will settle down.
