Papapietro Perry Chardonnay Peters Vineyard

Good acidity, orchard fruits on medium length finish. A little bit of oak but not excessive. Tasted at winery

Took this to our group on Friday, so I only had a glass or so of this. It had smoothed out a bit compared to my prior tasting note of this wine. The flavors had softened a bit and it seemed much more enjoyable than my first experience. Still presenting citrus notes with some tangy tropical influence. New oak is still significant and maybe a bit too evident for my tastes. Good acidity and mouthfeel.

A bit too oak driven in flavor profile. Good acidity and lively on the palate. Quite a bit of citrus influence. I will give my others a bit more time to integrate. Some evident minerality throughout.
