The nose is pear, apple, and honey, off-dry and honeyed on the palate, alongside apple core and a long finish. Good earthiness. Not awful, but a bit one-note.

I did not care for this wine like I thought I would. This is the first French wine I have sampled, and I think it has put me off. I heard this wine was a little sweet, but I forgot about the oak they love to use, and it is prominent in this wine. It will now be cooked with-I struggled through the first half of the bottle but I don't like it enough to finish drinking it.
