Clos Pegase Merlot Pegase Circle Reserve

Low nose with some steel wool pad notes. Quickly blew off. Good body with dark fruits, tobacco notes. Elements of plum and beef broth. Nice weight which steadily picked up for quite a while. Good finish with a nice richness. Well-balanced and a nice harmony and character. Level of a Best Supporting Actor, but never a top bill. Very enjoyable with vegetables w/ slow-cooked pork.
