Notes from memory, but this was very good for the level. Iodine, oyster shell, and white flowers on the nose. Ripe but not overly so on the palate, with crisp acidity and a texture that hints at elevage in oak though without any overt oak flavors. Would happily buy again.

Lunch at Klaw Miami FL Lemony Chablis with a bit more body and not so mineral. Beautiful golden color a bit more intense than usual.

Poor representation of Chablis. Tastes like it is half a step away from Napa Cougar Juice. Too much oak, too much fruit, too much of everything. Knew I was in trouble when the color wasn’t the light straw color of a quality Chablis. However, it makes up for it with a lack of depth and finish.

Generally agree with prior note in terms of taste profile. Lemon cream, apple, nice acidity, seaspray, flinty minerals. Essentially no finish and hardly a midpalate here. No real depth, coiling, or layers to me. I guess it is a $27 chard from Chablis afterall--can't expect a miracle. Pleasant enough to drink but not crazy about this at all and definitely not a repeat buy. Generously scoring 89.

Tasted blind. Immediately identifiable as a quality white burg. Lemon cream, bright acidity, some butter and toasty elements. I would have put this into Cote de Beaune and not Chablis. Great QPR.

Opened this hoping that 3 more years of bottle age would make this wine especially good. Even after being opened for days, the wine just lacks saber sharp acidity, tastes somewhat flat instead of buoyant, and the lemon/lime fruit is weak. Overall, however disappointing, enough enjoyable to be decent with food.

Light yellow, with a somewhat bland nose of only a ginger spice. The sip is better, with citric acidity, a softened texture, and lemon fruit. The swallow heightens the acidity enough to be cleansing and the lemon lingers to the very end of the juicy finish. Much better tasting warm than cold, and good with a wide range of foods. Ultimately I prefer the more savory and complex wines of Verget over this still good Chablis. Added Note: The last …

Chablis from Domaine Servin (Weygandt Wines - Washington, D.C.) : Vibrant and bright, green pear and lime along with a salty-floral combo. Crisp and clean and a great intro to Servin’s approach. Solid value.

Small taste. Simple classic chablis, maybe not as much acid as I normally want. Citrus, and minerals, salt.

From 375 ml. Medium-light straw color. Fresh nose of grapefruit. Decent acidity, though not much depth of flavor. Respectable wine, but I prefer Fevre's "Champs Royaux" at the entry level in Chablis.

Mineral driven lemon nose with chalky aromas. Crushed stone. It has lovely acidity, but isn't fruit driven. Stony and with light flavors of lemon oil and melon. Nice and richly textured. Intense, dense, dusty and linger nicely. Best with food.

This is a lovely forward Chablis with fresh notes of lemon and limestone fruit. Quite ripe with a nice minerality on the finish. Impressive and a crowd pleaser.

A declassified 1er cru and shows. This had excellent sea water notes and plenty of minerality. The mineral competent and the acidity were not typical for the '09 vintage and I like that. Reminded me of '08 but more robust on the nose and palete. Great with food.

Weygandt Selections - Annual Portfolio Tasting (Astor Place - New York, NY) : Lemons and herbs on this lightweight palate. Good amount of smokey oak and minerals on the palate.
