Andis Wines Zinfandel

This note is about the Original Grandpere Zin, not the basic Amador Zin: Decanted 1 hr. ahead. Pale garnet color with a bit of brick, like a Pinot Noir. Very light nose of red berries. Light-bodied on the palate, with ripe orange flesh flavors in an appropriate acid balance for this light of a wine. The finish is fast and drying with near-zero tannins. This wine is far less interesting than the label would lead you to believe.
