Outstanding, gorgeous dark crimson color, complex palate with black cherries, blueberries and hint of licorice. Tannins well integrated yet still very much present. Unlikely to get better at this point in my opinion.

I was surprised at how good this one still is after all these years. I didn't expect it to still have the complexity it did when I last drank it 5 years ago. Very dark color, almost black. Aromas of dark fruit, blackberrys and dust. Nice tannins but subdued with flavors of cedar, some chocolate, wet gravel and graphite. Great wine that has aged really well.

Let this wine breathe for about an hour.. Nice nice.. tastes of dark fruit medium tannins Enjoyable wine It smells like blackberry. The body is medium. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes short. The wine has low acidity.

This wine is holding up well with a few more years for optimal consumption. Good structure and still a little acidic but the tannins have mellowed. Nice, but not overpowering nose consisting of black cherries, blueberries, licorice and toast. Layers of bing cherries, black peppercorns, red figs, mint, toast and pencil shavings.

A blend of 45% Cabernet Franc, 24% Petit Verdot, 12% Malbec, 11% Cabernet Sauvignon and 8% Merlot. Medium (+) to deep ruby, with purple hues. Very extracted, with no signs of aging. The nose is clean, medium (+) to pronounced in intensity, with ripe black fruit, jammy boysenberry, candied violets, anise and lots of new oak spice. 14.4% ABV. Full bodied, with soft tannin and well-integrated oak. The beautiful, vibrant fruit took center stage. Finish was long, but a bit of heat detracted from other elements. Still a very enjoyable wine. I think Napa Valley could use some more cab franc!

Nice wine that's primarily cab franc. Still a bit rustic and will be better with 2-3 years of bottle age.

Well balanced and nice acidity. Drank this wine over two nights, and it was just as good the second night. Herbal, menthol, eucalyptus notes more pronounced on the nose with fresh purple fruits and a longish finish. I would refer to it as refined because of the nice balance of fruit and acidity.

Continue to enjoy this rich, round, smooth and nicely structured/balanced red wine. Group enjoyed with barbecued ribeye steaks.

Cassis, dark berry and a bit of vanilla oak and spice, with a supple tannic backbone. Not a long after, but very well balanced. Probably at peak now. Delightful pop and pour, it still improved in the glass. Hard to find anything to dislike about this beauty.

Decanted 3 hours. Drinking well now. Really smooth. Dark fruit. Nice wine but it's missing that "special something" that makes me want to go buy more. Still, a nice effort.

Surprisingly sumptuous and delicious. Lively and with some nice weight to it, this is drinking so well right now. Not as structured as some other cabs from this vintage.

Very dark color. Nice fruity nose. Tastes of dark cherries and fruits. Nice long finish on the tongue. Very enjoyable bottle with consistent tastes from start to finish.

Spiced blackberry, black cherry and overripe strawberry notes on the palate with some smokey edge to this as well. This was picked really ripe, but shows some nice floral and earth notes in addition to the fruit. Very open now, little in the way of tannin.

Aromatic spiced cherry, coffee grounds, caramel and blackberry with a touch of bell pepper; silky, juicy, bright with a touch of spicy tobacco; appealing, fruity, with good structure and medium finish. Solid and crowd pleaser at the right price. CS 75% M 14%, CF 8%, PV 2% Mal 1%.

Fruit forward blend, with silky tannins. Lots of black fruit up front, but a little light on the finish. Drinking well now with a decanting.

Nice Cali Cab with deep garnet color, dark berries and cherries on the nose, medium bodied, lively berries and light vanilla and liquorish notes supported by nicely integrated, silky tannins and prevelant acidity. Good porportion, nice balance, straight forward and honest. Easy drinking - sipping or paired. The finish stays with you for a very long time.

This wine sort of reminds me of The Prisoner in its better vintages. Dark color with crushed berries on the nose. Perfect entry with rich ripe berry fruits, smoked bacon, nutmeg and polished tannins with a score of 10.0 on the finish.

Medium to full color, hedonistic nose of cassis, new oak and ripe fruit, entry is balanced with nice tannins, body is light although fruit is very forward, finish is plummy and medium. Hedonistic fruit bomb, needs a bit more complexity and structure to be superb.

Vinturi'd. Very smooth, medium body, red fruit on the nose and palate, transitioning to dark fruit on the palate with short clean finish. Was very good straight out the bottle, was still getting better as it was finished 2hrs later.
