Chateau Larribotte, Sauternes

From Art's cellar and with Art for his birthday after a 1995 Beaucastel CNP with the entree. Deep golden brown in the glass. Nose is old brown sugar and orange peel (almost like blue curacao). In the mouth, acid is present and wine is not cloying, again brown sugarish with some citrus. Had it with an apricot upside down cake, and cake had sweet Syrian thyme in it to give it a savory flavor. Time to drink up.
