Dark red. Tart cherries, tannins are still pretty strong and somewhat bitter toward the finish. This could probably stand a few more years in the cellar. At minimum, decant for several hours.

Continued to follow over a few days. Never really opened; just a hint of raspberry and vanilla on nose/mouth. Hastey finish w/ drying tannins. Nothing much to see here. There are far better wines for the price....Yellowtail comes to mind...zing. 80 -JRS

Wine store consultant recommended this, home alone this week so decided to open something harmless with low expectations. For $15, this was good. Lots of fruit jumped out of the glass when I pulled the cork. Sweet red fruits dominate any other underlining flavors of interest right now, but I think this will settle in over the next few years.
