A little closed on the nose, as it needed more time than my pop & pour allowed. A little raw tannins on the palate along with some dark charries and pepper created a slightly disjointed experience that was pelasant noentheless. This is the kind of wine that is served at your neighborhood joint without a label. Hats off to Cline for making this effort and delivering consistent QPR for this brand over the years.

Very spicy - nice full fruit flavor that opened up after 30-45 minutes of decanting. Excellent wine for the price. A little harsh on the end initially, but that cleared up after some time. Went well with grilled steak. Very high QPR.

A blend of 45% Syrah, 29% Petite Sirah, 20% Cabernet Franc, and 6% Malbec and Mourvedre that was fermented in stainless steel then aged in a combination of French and American oak. 11,600 cases produced annually. The aromas are reminiscent of sweet candied fruit like cherries and strawberries, pretty one dimensional. The palate is tart and again kinda has that sweetish red fruit thing going on. Not much tannins, light bodied, modest alcohol at 13.5% abv, not very much of …

Cherry and pine sap on the nose. Cherry followed by a little vanilla. Some licorice and sour cherry on the finish. Very simple.

On tasting, slightly sweet with balanced tannins. Finishes too tannnic at first, then seems ok. A bit like a very light Rhone. Pleasant, but nothing to get excited about.
