Tappo Stelvin. Appena aperto, in questo 2010 emerge l'anima di riesling: colore giallo carico con riflessi verdolini, naso esplosivo di frutta esotica. Poi pian piano si fanno strada sentori di pesca e fiori bianchi. In bocca è grasso e pieno ma anche eccezionalmente sapido con un lunghissimo retrogusto fumé. Meno minerale di altre versioni, invoglia continuamente al sorso per scoprire nuove sfumature.

Eigener Geschmack, aber auch nach laengerem Öffnen nicht wirklich gut.

Monthly tasting club LTC 2015-07; A mixed set of white and red wines. (@ MM) : The bouquet is beautiful with a lot of minerals, smoke and some rustic flavors. On the palate minerals and rustic as well, gooseberry and asparagus. The majority of the group was not very positive about this wine. I scored it 85 – 86

better the fifth day with integration gradually over the days better to hold awhile than to drink

Riesling Rampage : Served blind. Apple, aniseed, lychee and pear aromas. Quite broad initially on the palate though it finishes very dryly. Some interest texture here, though it is a quite an odd wine overall.

Good wine. Dry. But too expensive for this quality.

End of year dinner; Break out the good stuff- Alto Adige, Rhone, Bordeaux, Barolo, Loire and Port. (Amali.) : Ordered off the list as none of us brought any starter whites, a nice way to get the evening rolling. Extremely effusive on the nose with a mélange of tropical fruit, lychee and citrus pith aromas with fragrant spicy floral notes. It's ripe and round on the palate, but there's enough acidity to keep it on the straight and narrow. Similar …

Perfumed with powerful florality. Nose is really, actually too empowering.

Minerals, stone fruits and moss abound in this well balanced and zippy Muller. Delicious.
