Francois Feuillet Vosne-Romanée

Has some cooler green notes along with dried flowers and a sprinkling of pepper. There's red berry and mineral in the mouth. Very pleasant if not a bit compact and simple.

Wines at the Ambassade de Bourgogne, Paris : A spicy bouquet of red cherries, raspberries and red currants. On the palate, showing what 2011 does well, an open, approachable wine, if a little rustic. However, reasonably layered and complex, with flavours of spice, red currants and some earth. Drinking well now, but it would cellar short to medium term, I would imagine, but there seems little point in waiting. No green notes I could see on bouquet or palate.
