NadNash dinners : Off the list at 67PM: I'm not 100% sure if this is the wine we had - but it was a classic ice wine, riesling in style, even if the grape is something called vidal

Absolutely loved this wine. Deep, golden colour, nose is smoky with raisins too. The palate has burnt orange, caramelised citrus fruit, raisins and zippy acidity to balance it all out. Excellent.

Tasted at Three Borders Wine Group, Hampshire, UK. Tasting of wines from China. Half bottle. Apparently the grape is vidal blanc. Peach/amber colour. Flowery, fruity nose, with tropical overtones, honey. A rich palate, reminiscent of a sauternes, burnt sugar.
