Still drinking OK - much to my surprise. Subdued fruit, some interesting tertiaries, plenty of acid. Drank best after bottle had been opened for 60 mins or so.

Glass pour. Not sure how long this bottle has been open but it certainly lacks a bit of freshness. Alcohol heat, black cherry and plentiful oak (chocolate/nutmeg) on the nose. The palate is fruity, warm and a little sharp. It's a bit soupy. Actually I just think it's been served a touch too warm for me.

Very nice. Dark and red (cranberry) fruit with some rustic funk. Good acid. Good balance. Seems to be in a very good place. Well done.

Very tasty Sonoma pinot. The nose of redolent of high toned red berry fruits with hints of dried orange peel, black tea, and a touch of baking spices. The palate is fresh and lively with a lovely core of acidity driving red and blue berries, hints of earth, and savory spice. There are pleasant supporting tannins that are well integrated. The finish leaves bing cherry lingering. Very nicely done and will certainly age well for at least another 5-6 years.

Opened and led off with as powerful a saline note as I've ever encountered in a Pinot. After about an hour, it integrated nicely and the whole package spoke strongly of Sonoma Coast. The saline and the herbal component (30% whole cluster) add nice complexity to the bright red fruit. Still seems early yet for this wine. Really lovely.

13.4% Red fruits, stems and green herbs with underbrush and forest floor notes. This has some density, concentration, and some grip from the light tannins. That greenness is always there in the aroma and flavors adding nuance rather than getting in the way. Over time this fills out, the fruit steps up, and the wine softens. I'm enjoying this now, but I'll take my time with my remaining bottles. This is supposed to be Hirsch Vineyard fruit and the masculinity …

Dark baked berries (boysenberry?), damp earth, dried roses and candied orange peel. Concentrated, supple pure red fruit, orange cocktail, with candied and tart cherry along with woodsy stemmy grip. Inky dried floral depth, combined with orangey, tangy, mouthwatering acids.

Blackberry fruit with a little meatiness dried herbs, and solid mid palate; nice tart berry flavors, subtle tannins with a good tangy, long finish.

A bit of a vinyl plastic note here - not that crazy about this.
