I've enjoyed every other Spearhead wine that I've tried but neither of us cared for this. It had a rich start but a finish that we both found bitter and that reminded me a bit of very much over-ripe pineapple. We weren't happy with a new recipe thawed tried and paired the wine with and I wondered if that's what put us off, but the flavours were still present the next day.

Agree with LUCAC_W ,s notes on this wine. I do get a pineapple aftertaste. An enjoyable Chard.

Lovely balance of fruit and oak without being a vanilla bomb. Stellar value for BC. While I still think the Kitsch 7 barrels is a better expression of Chardonnay, this Dijon clone is uniquely Burgundian and BC.
