I agree that this has a flavor profile of Chablis, with a crispness that borders on too tart. That said, there is intense enough lemony fruit and good balance. Just wouldnt' guess it as Mersault. No need to wait for drinking, it won't improve.

God structure not great as at release.

This wine had more pop two years ago, its starting to develop a more chablis like briskness... good not great.

Very light gold color. Young Burgundian nose of lemons and minerals with a whiff of sulphur. Very seductive young white with sweet lemony fruit and a good spine of acidity. Quite minerally and also fairly dense and saturated on the long, spicy finish. Tastes like a medium term ager but other than the strong but balanced and succulent acidity, there's nothing about this wine that suggests it's not a pure, tasty Mersault.

Martin Scott Wines Portfolio Event (New York City) : Light lemon color. Complex nose of mineral, spice, white fruit and smoked herbs. Good structure on the palate. Yummy.
