Feraud-Brunel and Pegau (Arlequin Wines, San Francisco) : 75% Grenache, 25% Syrah. Lighter and less depth than the Cotes du Rhone. This also possesses a nice aromatic mix of fruit and herbs. Lighter weight, pretty strawberry fruit, and a touch of licorice. Pretty evanescent, though, and dilute on the finish. For the short term. Not as convincing as the preceding wine which was half the price.
