Ortenauer Weinkellerei Altschweierer Sternenberg Rieslingsekt Brut

The wine was light yellow in colour, with a medium-intense, medium-fine perlage. It offered ripe stone fruit, peach and crisp bread on the fruity nose. On the fruity palate the wine showed ripe stone fruit, ripe peach, ripe red apple, apple peel, some biscuit and a mild beer-like component, with medium-level acidity and average length. The wine was made in a full-bodied, rich and very ripe style, but lacked freshness to balance the ripeness and hence seemed dull.
