Domaine Barat, Chablis Premier Cru, Mont de Milieu

Tasting note modified from Amanti Vino's notes: Barat’s 2018 Monts de Millieu has an intense nose of honeysuckle, zesty sea salt, citrus and green apples. On the mid-palate, the wine is bone-dry with hallmark Chablis acidity and chalky minerality intertwined with lime and lemon citrus fruit. It has a clean finish that is long and complex with undertones of almonds and stony minerality. This Premier Cru is drinking well now and will surely age gracefully for the next 8 years.
