The higher altitude and cooler climate shows through in this silky PN. It’s interesting - PN normally has intense perfume as well as deep earthiness that almost seem separate in the glass. In this wine they seem integrated, and maybe a bit muted. That said, this is deliciously drinkable. I get a lot of garrigue-like herbaceous vibes as well. Overall, this is a crowd pleaser and is a good QPR.

I brought the last bottle I had of this to an afternoon gathering to show what Alto Adige/Sudtirol could produce and everyone raved about it and vyed for the final drops from the bottle. This had continued to develop beautifully. The acidity was still there and the fruit still fresh and lively. It probably could have aged further but was too good not to reach for.

Continued to be impressed by this out of the way Pinot. All the great characteristics of an old world Burgundy, not overtly cherry, tasting a lot of Earth and stone notes. Beautiful and felt it could be paired with almost any food.

Bacon, spice and pepper on the nose. On the palate more of the same with some earthy undertones, very smooth, no tannins to speak of, light mouthfeel, overall a light finesse wine. Light but long bacon finish.

Fresh, light Pinot Noir with nice cherry notes and strawberries. A little bit of smoke. Light moussage. Nice medium acidity. --------------------------------------- Frischer, leichter Pinot Noir mit schönen Kirsch- und Erdbeernoten. Etwas Rauch. Leichte Moussage. Schöne mittlere Säure.

Nose of iron and chalk. Medium bodied. Mouth feel ok. Tast = Savory and sweet, with a touch of funk/dirt (I often find in AA PN) and iron. Will likely finish. But don't need more.

Frisk og frugtig med en god syre. Let reserveret pinot-næse med røde kirsebær, jordbær, vanille og sort peber. I munden er vinen frisk og frugtig med nogen syre, uden at det bliver for meget. Velintegrerede tanniner og fin mellemlang eftersmag. +3-5 år.
