Medium deep gold. Deep lime pith, lime, greengage nose. Quite an herbal edge to the sweet citrus fruit, a green (but not read unripe) vein through it. Hints of bruised apple too. Ready to go for sure, but this will likely plateau for quite some time, it is well balanced and has good acidity. May gain complexity too. Needs food. Very nice.

Decanted for 30 min, drank from Gabriel Gold. This needs a lot of air. Next bottle will get 2 hours of decant. Subtle and quiet beauty, very deep and complex boquet with yellow pear, yellow apple, quince, agrumen, yeast, some nut-butter, malt, crushed stones... On the palate very elegant, powerful without weight. Fine tannins, present but ripe (almost creamy) acidity, saline minerality. Improves with every minute over hours. Beautiful fruit - acidity balance. Nice soft lime, pear and apple notes. Interesting mineral notes in the background. Nice juicy finish. A little one-sided and not very complex but overall a great enjoyable Riesling.
