Classy and sleek. Classic Cab nose, still has lots of fruit, very smooth and supple with refined tannins. Fully mature but has years to go.

Decanted 30 min, drank over a couple hours. Ruby red to the edge. Nose of raspberry, chocholate and creme de casis, matching taste with added cola and spice notes. Decent acid and tannin. In a pretty good spot right now.

Hints of cranberry in aroma. Taste of currant with a hint of blueberry with a heavy body. Easy to drink and did not have a harsh finish. Very good.

Well balance with a minimal leather and white chocolate nose. By far the best Martini effort

Picking up sophistication with cellar time. The diesel fuel is coming into balance with the fruit and spice. Excellent effort by Martini.

Very expressive Caberet Sauvignon. 1330 cases. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Fermentation: 3.5 ton fermentors 50% Submerged Cap, 50% punched down. 100% new French oak barrels for 15 months. Results in a fruit forward, very good cabernet. Deep red / purple with a bit of tannins still present. My guess would be to age for at least 5 more years, and try again. The fruit should be very complex by then. Great potential.

Hand picked and hand sorted, this is Martini's effort at a highly structured Napa Cab with 1330 cases made. It is drinking a bit young right now - not with overwhelming tannins, but with that diesle fuel taste that sometimes comes with underdeveloped wines. It's not a blockbuster as the finish lasts about 20 seconds, but another two or three years in the cellar should help bring this wine to it's potential. 91 for now.
