Bought this bottle for fun six months ago and popped it today. Did some google research about the wine but I didn't find any useful information. white Rhone is absolutely out of my safety zone and I have only tasted a few so my experience isn't that good. Close to honeydripping with a big doze of heaviness that must spring from oak. What to pair it with? I have no clue, this is quite heavy. If you like this type of wine, you might score it higher. Wait 2-3 years.

Only my third white wine from northern Rhone, but probably the best one. Quite overwhelming, very complex, mature and interesting, but not really my type of wine, will not buy it again, but highly recommendable for those interested in white wines from this region. Close to a bargain at 25 euro and a lot cheaper than the other two white wines from northern Rhone I have had.

Heavy on the nose with notes of flesh, mushrooms, pistage and butter. Nicely developed on the palate with orange, mashed apples, almonds, pepper and mushrooms. Complex but feels a little stale due to the low acidity.
