Very interesting wine. Lots of nutty, oxidative notes. Really enjoyed on its own, and mixed into some cocktails.

Organic honey, a nose of sauternes. There is something so wild and wonderful about this. A perfumed nose.

Nose of mushrooms, caramel and candied cherries. Flavour is complex with sour cherry and caramel. It’s a bit like a mix between sherry and port. After a while, the finish has some Granny Smith apple flavours.

The poem on the front is a verse from "Keep a Few Embers From the Fire" by Canadian poet Chief Dan George. Bottle 348 of 2,664, this has a reductive nose of yellow pear, toasted nuts and some subtle baking spice notes. On the palate it has vibrant acidity on a honeyed flavoured profile with hints of pineapple, Golden apple, butter and vanilla. Medium-bodied with a slight oily and creamy texture. It's mouth-watering throughout, while the finish length is excellent. …

The Fourteenth Stonefields Dinner (Guelph, Ontario, Canada) : Biodynamic and 100% whole cluster pressed and aged in 15% new French Oak barrels. This is quite restrained on the nose with pear, citrus, spice, roasted nuts and minerals. The palate seems a touch bigger and marries rich almost tropical fruit with a fine bead of acid that is augmented by wood spice and vanilla notes. The finish is medium.

The wine is pale lemon in colour. The nose presents citrus, pear, floral notes with nuances of flint and green pea. The palate is rich, biscuity and balanced with good acidity and structure, bringing focus to the wine and creating a medium long length. Suitable for vegans & vegetarians. Beppi Crosariol awarded this wine 90 Points

A hot dry year resulting in very ripe characters. One of the best growing seasons on record. This Chardonnay has a beautiful nose of sweet almond and orange blossom which is echoed on the palate with hints of ginger and caramelized pear. There is a an earthy limestone flavor on the finish.

Notes of ripe pear, apple and citrus zest greet the nose while the palate offers these same fruit components, but also crème brulee and toasted almond. Framed with a creamy texture and a long, graceful finish

91 points - "Petit Verdot can be a wiry an wily customer at best of times, thanks to its penchant for high acidity. One would think that Ontario therefore would hardly be terra firma. But this is quite compelling with a very lifted, almost piercing nose of blackcurrant with all kinds of meaty, herbal and smoky complexity. It's mid-weight and fairly dense but with a taut nervosity, some greenness, tannin and a graphite/mineral finish. It is heady however with flavours …

Really interesting, smoky character. Just a bit of the NOTL vegetal nose/palate. Good fruit, great acidity.

LCBO "Taste Ontario" (AGO, Toronto) : Not sure this is from the Watson vineyard. However, the price is similar. Tasted at the LCBO "Taste of Ontario" event. Whimsically aweful. There is no way that this wine is an 89 or 90, relative to other much better California Meritage or Bordeaux wines.
