I didn't find this wine to be as enjoyable as the others I tried. The nose made me believe that the wine was going to be huge but it was quite subdued and slightly less concentrated than I expected. Short finish, too. Some red fruit present and charbono flavors are quite prominent.

A blend of 40% Carmine, 30% Charbono, 25% Primitivo, and 5% Tempranillo. Color (5/5) is a clear ruby garnet red. Obviously a lighter bodied wine. A full bosomy nose of creamy, earthy red fruit with a hint of that SE Pennsylvania mushroom (11/15). After a medium or even light entry there is delicious musty red-purple fruit that carries through the mid-palate to a lengthy finish (15/20).
