Les Horees Bourgogne-Aligoté En Coulezain

Coravin from the usual place in London. Clearly a slight touch of natty floral tones here, but otherwise this actually comes across fairly conventionally. Not too much waxiness from the grape here either, it's actually got a good bit of minerality here, and also fairly decent acidity for aligoté. Colour me impressed.

New Burgundy tasting : Much better than the last coravin bottle in London, more consistent with my previous experiences with this producer. Rich tropical fruit that can feel artificial and overdone, but just about enough tension and minerality for me.

London wines; 4/7/2025-4/9/2025 : Ripe citrus fruit, some acidity of the aligoté that became apparent on the finish. Had the textural richness, but not the intensity or energy of the previous vintages that I have tried (but perhaps because it was from the last quarter of a coravined bottle).
