Excellent. Need to buy more of this as it is outstanding. Right mix of tannins - like a Cab should have.

Unbalanced tannin and oak, give it a few more years.

This shows quite nicely the potential of Lodi Jahant Cabernet when the right grapes are not overdone and in the hands of the right winemaker. Elegant and just enough power.

This is a very solid and enjoyable Cabernet with good potential to develop some elegance over the next few years. Balanced and quite drinkable now, the elements of skin tannin and oak are just starting to complex. I had wanted to taste this somewhere else than the tasting room and with a meal, the best test. Will add some to the cellar.

My rating is approximate, in general a medium to full weigh Cabernet, elevated by oak and aging. The oak is more apparent but still is in context, there is a significant level of tannin but the wine is well balanced with a long finish. Definitely needs some time but I will revisit soon. Disclaimer** I used to make wine off this vineyard and have always liked it and thought it had excellent potential!
