Last bottle tonight of this very good vintage. Driinking well and firm tannic structure will have this so for another 3-5 years. Great value !

Dark cherry and vanilla on the nose. Dark fruits, spice, leather, and vanilla on the palate. Medium body, medium acid, and a medium finish.

Really nice classic Rioja. Very well balanced with dried dark cherry/plum, nice acidity and nice tanins. Very good structure. Good with food or by itself, we ate with food one night and by itself the next.

2nd to last bottle of this outstanding value. Has improved slightly since first tasting in 2020. More Balanced with a fuller black cherry mouthfeel; medium to full bodied with beautiful bouquet. Buying more of the 2016.

Opaque colour with red brim. Nose is developed, fruity, with oak character and notes of cherries, vanilla, plums, spices, mulberries and a touch of licorice. Mouthfeel is medium bodied plus, with smooth tannins, good acidity and notes of cherries, vanilla, spices and mulberries. Very classical and typical Rioja, obviously young, but drinks well today and will develop nicely for minimum five years more.

09/2020 rich cherry / black cherry bouquet; med body, cherry vanilla; mod oak influence; w/reasonable long clean finish. Prob not an ager drink now or within 3 yrs
