Still dark and deep and brooding. Good sauvage notes with ripe fruit. Lots of upside potential

Solid, solid solid - young with tons of fruit but drinking well now. Great w/ short ribs - lots of action on the palate. Fun to drink - great structure..

This was quite nice and graceful.

This was much better than the first bottle I opened. It had nice fruit and some graphite with a finish that had hi Mrs of gravel and cedar.

Lovely rhone ready to go. Zero decant and we had leather, leaves, artichoke, strawberry(?), over rich silky tannin and a touch of acid and a tingly finish. Great value for a distinctive wine.

Decanted this for 2 hours. Shook the f**k out of it too as I've never met a wine before that was as reduced and gassy. Had tried this a month or so ago without any preparation. This was infinitely better. Much smoother and rounder. Actually tasted of a decent Syrah! Not necessarily my preferred producer but there is certainly something there.

No formal note but enjoyed this wine - popped and poured - wine is open and had a great nose - w/ a bit of that wet fur thing - medium body and nice acidity. Looking forward to re-visiting this wine w/ a bit more age.
