A blend of garnacha and cariñena plus a touch of Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. Dark, inky colour. Nose of cooked damsons, garrigues, cedar, spice and some heat from the alcohol. The palate has ripe plummy fruit with some blackberry and spiciness on the finish. Nothing too complex but it's a sub £10 bottle and really enjoyable.
