Wow. This is the wine I remember! Very drinkable, peppery dark fruit, a hint of cassis and earth, with a fair bit of alcohol. Balanced but noticable acidity. Fantastic QPR. Was worried this might be past its prime, but no!

Delicious. Very smooth and in balance. Nice cool dark cherries and some gravel and faint mulch. Some good brown spices and faint sweetness on the end. I could drink this as my house wine very easily. 90pts.
