Dark, inky purple in color with tobacco, moss and slate on the nose. You had better be prepared for a bold, full-bodied wine. There's a serious raspberry, black cherry and leather palate that literally hits you up the side of the head on first sip. I agree with Kittykatufl's note that you should decant this Syrah for a couple of hours before drinking. Extremely long finish with some bitter notes. Hey, it's Syrah, what do you expect?
