This is typically the kind of bottle you should choose in a restaurant, because the first one was oxidized. The second was without any fault. Nose of hazelnut, apricot and butter, with an integrated touch of wood. Very oily mouthfeel for a Puligny, with a sensation of licking stone against a background of aromas of citrus and vanilla. Balanced palate, with a fine acidity tending sufficiently. Beautiful buttery finish with hazelnut notes, good length. Very good. The wood must have …

Oak is beginning to integrate, more pronounced on the nose than on the palate. White peaches, minerals, nice balance. I think this would benefit from 2-3 years of cellaring.

2007 is not the best vintage for Henri Boillot, I have only really enjoyed Henri Boillot 2009 and recent vintages, anything older than 2009 is inconsistent. Tasted blind - Initially it was showing stinky gym socks but blew off after a while in the glass. Exotic white peach, lychee, minerals of Rhône but without the heaviness and high alcohol. The acidity and ripeness is disjointed. 2007? Corton Charlemagne? (85/100)

Stunning. I wish I could figure out how to get these bottles in this place predictably. It's at a place where it is still showing its youth and starting to show its maturity. Pear flavors for the fruit, stony mineral flavors, hints of butter, kind of a honey cough drop especially on the finish, all perfectly balanced with a really long finish.

Very healthy colour, looks promising, Very stony / mineral aroma character, some lime beneath. Not very typical for Puligny Fresh sitrus character on the palate, hits in front and last very long all the way back. Well kept Burgundy without antvsigns of oxidatiin. Very good indeed

What a great wine! Lemony and maybe pear flavors also, strong stony minerality, mouthwatering acidity, a buttery texture, but not a strong buttery flavor, very long finish. Outstanding.

Opened little too soon. Just kept opening up more and more all night. Lemon, peach; oak notable at first but disappeared after few hours; very lovely mouth feel; long finish. Give this one another two or three years.

pop-n-pour; peak at around 4 hours after opening; should serve slight chilled; citrus, floral, mineral, soft spics and butter; quite short in finish though

Very Puligny on the nose but not so lemony with spices and herb along with mineral background which is deep and elegant. Mineral, spicy, good mid palate grip, power but not intrusive, acidity and mineral is very well integrated with hint of wood trace and elegant mineral finish. Not overly complex, but a wine that is very stylish which emphasize the purity of the fruits and clean on the palate. Buy - No.
